Delicate story which May trigger upset for some but the ending is so powerful and peaceful about a little girl and her white bunny rabbit ♥️ “It takes a community to do this” 💜

💜 A few years ago, a little baby girl was removed from the care of her parents and taken into hospital. She had no clean clothes, no toys… nothing to comfort her. She was scared and confused. 💚 Until a court order was granted, it was left to the incredible nursing staff to care for and comfort her on the children’s ward. A request for help was made to Brierley Hill BabyBank — a pushchair so she could be taken for walks around the ward and held when needed. She was given a beautiful clean clothes pack, toys to play with, and a cuddly bunny for comfort. She fell in love with that bunny… and still sleeps with it every night to this very day 🥰 💜 Following her adoption, her new family never forgot what BabyBank did to help and they’ve stayed in touch ever since. She even comes to play in the sensory room now and has her own handprint on the wall! Here’s what her family said about the impact it made: “I always vowed that when I found myself in a position to be able to give back, I would. Recently I contacted the baby bank to offer my time. This little girl I looked after went through such a traumatic experience. The baby bank were there to help without hesitation. I feel honoured and proud to be a part of their journey to help others in the situations they find themselves in. To be able to give back to a team that gave so much. To help others feel that there is hope.” What a heartbreaking beginning… but the most beautiful and heartwarming ending with a forever family ♥️~
