Mom's Statement

I have learnt so much about myself the last 15 months and I’m not sure where I would be right now without the help of the team at Brierley Hill Babybank. The first time I went they listened, I didn’t feel rushed or judged whilst I broke down in tears as my emotions poured out. It was really hard to do but I’d held it together for far too long. Over the weeks and months I have felt supported, empowered and positive about mine and my babies future. Babybank is so much more than what people see and I don’t feel they shout about it enough. The packs are amazing but it wasn’t material things that I needed. It was simply someone to be consistent, to check in with me, to laugh and cry with, to work through situations with, to remind me of my worth, to plan a future and embrace life in a safe space. I will always be so grateful for what Maz has done for us, I now support financially to help pay for wages so that staff can be there for other parents like myself. My future is brighter and I want to donate and raise awareness to raise funds for this support to continue. 👏🏼
